Baramulla, May 5, 2023: Glowing tributes were paid to Karbala Martyrs during a daylong Majlis Hussaini (AS) at the shrine of Hazrat Shamas Baba Sahib (RA), Yakhmanpora, Pattan, here on Friday.
The Majlis was organised by the J&K Shia Association, led by its president, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari.
Thousands of mourners from all walks of life attended the Majlis, which started with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran, followed by prominent Zakirs of the Shia Association reciting Marsiya.
President of the J&K Shia Association, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, threw light on the life and teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and Karbala Martyrs.
Ansari also recounted the immense services and sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) for the cause of Islam and Muslim unity.
Ansari also stressed unity and integrity among Muslims and urged them to follow the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS).
